Video Summary

The 2025 Cadillac Escalade is the first luxury flagship EV that still maintains the Escalade’s imposing character with a new sleek profile.
The vehicle is dual motor, therefore, all-wheel drive. In normal mode it has 680 horsepower and 615 lb-ft of torque, and with the V button on the steering wheel, it increases to 750 horsepower and 785 lb-ft of torque.
The battery size is just over 200 kWh and uses an 800-volt architecture with 350kW fast charging. The estimated range is 460 miles or over 724 kilometers.
The electrically assisted steering is four-wheel steer with a ten-degree rear wheel articulation.
The suspension is based around double wishbones at the front, multi-link at the rear, with air springs, and Cadillac’s Magnetic Ride Adaptive Dampers. It rises by one inch and drops by two inches.
There are 24-inch wheels, and the towing capacity is 8,000 pounds. Curb weight is set to be over 9,000 pounds.
Inside, there is lots of tech, with an AKG sound system with 40 speakers. It has Super Cruise and bi-directional charging ability for powering a house.
At 224 inches long, it makes the BMW X7 look like a mini. Parking in downtown Toronto would be difficult.
The signal stock feels like a Cadillac due to its integrated wipers. One is not a fan of the shifter stock, and it doesn’t feel premium.
Given the touch screen, it finds the controller redundant.
Heated and cooled massaging seats are comfortable and highly adjustable with adjustable lumbar support. There are lots of adjustments in the steering wheel.

The car lacks Apple CarPlay and Android Auto capabilities. The large infotainment screen with Google built-in is seamless.
It does have the V-Max mode that requires a powerful performance. There is some torque steer on acceleration. Its limited top speed is 125 mph. This SUV delivers performance that defies physics, provides great handling, soaks up bumps, has great steering, and translates to input.

The SUV can tackle corners with great control. It is easy to be safe and comfortable.
The Escalade maintains American luxury, so it is bigger, more powerful, more tech, and more plush than competitors. This vehicle is a real muscle car and a revolution wrapped in silence and luxury.
