Video Summary

Lucid first showed us the gravity in November of 2023, and a year and a half later I’m about to get a chance to take it for a test drive. The exterior looks smashing with sleek and low lines and thoughtful details. It has a boxy shape, but it looks really elegant. The interior looks even better than the exterior. The interiors of this car include leather, synthetic leather, colors, fabrics, designs, patterns, textures, and sustainable walnut wood. The interiors evoke a calming, peaceful, and relaxing environment and energy, and it is spot-on and beautiful. One of the favorite features may be the serenity screens, which show ocean scenes on both the main display and in the mirror. Wireless charging, wireless Apple Carplay, voice-activated "Hey, Lucid" systems are also included. The interior has a new dashboard and a larger OLED screen. The positioning of the steering wheel allows you a clear view of this entire screen as you’re driving. The seating provides tons of space. It has a dynamic handling package with rear-wheel steering. The range of the battery is 450 miles. It can charge up to 400 kilowatts and get 200 miles of range in 11 minutes. It also has a terrain mode for off-roading, air suspension and adjustable ride height. Maximum horsepower is 828, and the max torque is 909 pound feet. There are three levels of regenerative braking and the car can tow up to 6,000 pounds. There is also a seat insert so you can sit in the trunk for tailgating. The steering has a heavy feel. The A-pillar in this car is chunky. The starting price for the Gravity Grand Touring is $96,625 including destination; the Touring model will start at $81,625. Overall, the Gravity is well worth the wait.
