Buying my FIRST car - Long Range AWD Tesla Model 3 Highland

Video Summary

The reviewer is getting a brand-new Tesla Model 3, his first Tesla and first brand-new car.

He had several issues with his previous Impala cars. Older Impala models (2008 to 2016) had issues with locks not locking correctly due to the mechanism breaking.

He moved to downtown Houston, living in an apartment with a decent skyline view.

He had initially planned to get a Tesla by January but expedited the plan because Tesla was running a 2.99% APR finance promotion. He did not qualify for the promotion from Tesla, so he went through a credit union instead.

Because of the delayed process, the Model 3 the reviewer was supposed to get has become the Long Range all-wheel drive version with upgraded speakers, faster speed, and upgraded wheels for only $1,250 more.

He had issues today, with a client not paying him.

Getting the Tesla All-Wheel Drive model made it worth the money.

It includes better speakers, is faster, and includes upgraded wheels.

The insurance had the wrong end date but that got resolved.

The loan did not get approved until the afternoon. The individual at the credit union who goes to the bank to get the loan was not there today, so he has to go the next day to pick up the loan.

The reviewer will get the car tomorrow at noon.

In current traffic, it takes about an hour to get to Tesla.

Scratches and damage are on the hood, a small dent, chipped paint, and that was reported for service.

A Tesla referral code is available for $1,000 off Model 3/Y and $2,000 off Model X/S.

On an initial test drive he tried, in the electric car's autopilot feature cut off and was required to apply slight turning force in the steering wheel. Autopilot disengaged mid-turn on the road.

The Tesla "sees" there are high amounts of traffic.

Autodimming high beams and cameras are included.

The review claims its electric car autopilot setting is assertive and drives like he does, but also states that, while trying out autonomous mode in the city, he ended up disengaging autopilot because it was keeping him in a slow lane and that the car’s decision-making at an intersection made him feel uneasy.

As a result of the short length of time with the vehicle before flying out, review of electric car technology and specifications are limited.

A friend said Tesla is an ABG Magnet (Asian Baby Girl).

There is still a sticky thing on the front but it has been removed from the back.
