The Capri name usage is a point of discussion. The taillights are a distinctive feature and a nod to older models. The car doesn’t look much like an SUV, and Ford says it has changed the suspension and driving experience from that of the VW ID.4 and ID.5, despite using Volkswagen’s MEB electric platform.The steering wheel is unique and squared off, but feels good to hold. The center console is called a “mega console” with a big upright touchscreen running Ford's SYNC software. This screen has clear and easy-to-use menus and has adjustable angle, too.
Rear doors aren’t very wide, but there's plenty of headroom. Two adults can fit comfortably in the back, and the flat floor would allow three. There are air vents and USB ports, and a fold-down armrest with cup holders. The boot holds 572 liters, and there’s a double-level floor.
The driving experience mixes suppleness with good body control. Steering is weighted well, with a good turning circle. It has a dependable brake pedal. The B mode is similar to that of the VW models, with enhanced regenerative braking. Available driving modes are Eco, Comfort, Sport, and Individual.
Efficiency is about 20 kWh per 100 km, which isn't exceptional, but still is not a problem. From launch, there will be two battery sizes, and they are paired with different motors. At the end, the video claims that the price range isn't too bad, and this is a good all-rounder.
