Video Summary
Here's the summary:
The car is equipped with a proximity key; it needs to be present in the car for it to start. The charge flap is on the rear left-hand side and is unlocked with the central locking. The light by the socket will illuminate green to indicate the car is now charging. The cable is released by pressing the unlock button on the key. The second part of the socket is for public rapid charging. Cars are supplied with a three-pin charging lead. A roadside tire repair kit is located underneath the boot carpet.
The driver's seat is adjustable using the bar underneath the front and the wheel on the side of the seat. The steering wheel can also be adjusted by releasing the clasp underneath the steering column.
Once in D mode, the car will coast like a normal car when you lift your foot off the accelerator. The second gear selection will switch to the car's B mode, in which the car will automatically slow itself when you lift your foot off the accelerator and adds charge back into the battery, in a process known as regenerative braking.
Push the gear selector forwards once it's in the D mode to move into neutral. The electronic handbrake will disengage when you touch the throttle. The car has three drive modes: eco, normal, and sport.
Eco mode gives the car a greater driving range by reducing the power of the motor; sport mode enhances speed at the expense of the driving range. Automatic lights and wipers can be controlled using the stalks on either side of the steering wheel. On the left-hand side, behind the steering wheel, you will find the stalk to control and set your cruise control and speed limiter.
There are buttons to control the infotainment system and voice activation/phone controls on the steering wheel.
The infotainment system is a touchscreen, and cars don't come standard with sat-nav, as it's assumed you'll be using your phone as your sat-nav and music source. Connect your phone via USB or Bluetooth, and a range indicator that’s based on the battery, temperature, and recent driving patterns is displayed on the dash screen. Additional climate controls are located below the media screen.
Following a drive, apply the parking brake, put the car in park, and switch off the car by pressing and holding the start-stop button.
