Video Summary

Here is a summary of the YouTube video review about an electric car.
- GWM has increased the entry price to the new Cannon range.
- The entry-level cab chassis model has been dumped.
- The opening model, the Lux, is still assertively priced at just over $40,000 drive-away.
- LED lights, 18-inch alloy wheels, a chrome sports bar at the back, power-folding side mirrors, a spray-in bedliner, keyless entry, fake leather trim, single-zone climate control, a wireless phone charger, and a 12.3-inch touch screen media system with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, as well as a six-speaker sound system and 7-inch digital instrument cluster, as well as auto wipers, are all features of the Lux model.
- The Ultra adds a few thousand dollars to the price and has all the same stuff, but a little bit more as well.
- An electric sunroof, rear privacy glass, leather-accented seats, heated and ventilated seats in the front, and a heated steering wheel are features of the Ultra.
- It has a USB port for a dashcam, ambient lighting inside, and auto-dimming rearview mirror.
- The Vanta is a special edition that adds a black pack on the outside.
- The wheels and the exterior finishing and sports bars are black.
- The XSR is the most off-road focused version in the lineup and it does have a price reduction for this updated model range with plenty of great off-roading stuff.
- If you are thinking of a budget Ute and you don't want to buy a Chinese Ute, you have to go and have a look at the KGM Ssangyong Musso. It can do 3.5 ton towing and has a diesel engine.
- Another is the Jac T9 with good payload, and it's a good tradie truck if you are shopping on a budget.
- GWM Triton just added a bunch of more affordable versions of the Triton; 4x4 automatic versions of the Triton can be about 50 grand.
- There have been visual changes to the updated Cannon, including a more truck-like front-end design.
- The standards versions have a 5.4-meter length, with the XSR model being slightly longer.
- Payload: 995 kilograms for Lux, Ultra and Vanta. 875 kg for the XSR.
- The standard GVM is 3225 kg and the XSR is 3205 kg.
- The gross combination mass is the same, at 6200 kg with a little difference between the grades at the bottom and the ones at the top, and towing is 3.5 tonnes.
- Comes with standard sports bar roll bar and roof rails.
- The tailgate has changed with GWM emblazoned in big text, with central locking and an assisted tailgate.
- There is a USB port for a dashcam.
- The engine is now 2.4 L in all models and the transmission is an automatic nine-speed.
- All versions have a rear-locking differential, with a front-locking diff available in the top-spec model.
- It's got an on-demand all-wheel-drive.
- The Cannon has a five-star ANCAP safety rating from 2021.
- The vehicle comes with autonomous emergency braking, adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, emergency lane keeping, blind spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alert.
- The GWM has a seven-year unlimited kilometer warranty.
- Comes with five years of roadside assistance.
- Five year cap price servicing plan.

Final thoughts from the reviewer:
- Need a dual cab diesel ute but you don't have the money to spend on it. Put this GWM on your shopping list. Very impressive for the money you get and all that great stuff on the inside. Also has a practical tub with 3.5 ton towing.
- Does feel perky and has decent controls.
- For the transmission: “It’s Okay, but it is not great”, it still isn't the best I have driven.
- So, to me it all comes to if you are all about a hard working Ute or have lots of tech in it? It might be the one for you!
