The Model Y has become the world’s best-selling car of any kind. The only version that Tesla is currently selling is the Launch series.The front now has a light bar with three different sections and an in-line hood. The headlights themselves sit lower. The addition of a front bumper camera is a big upgrade. The manual front trunk is similar to before, though. Also, the wiper fluid fill spot has been relocated and a drain plug added to the front trunk.
The side is a typical crossover SUV, with the same door handles, and similar wheels that now have covers. The 19" Crossflow wheels come standard, but the buyer can upgrade to 20" Helix 2.0 wheels.
The side mirrors have been changed, having an integrated channel to help with aerodynamics. The back of the Model Y is the coolest and most changed, now having a rear light bar that’s unique and indirect, and reflects off a Tesla textured panel inside. The blinkers are now integrated into the sides. The rear camera looks more designed from the ground up. It is more refined.
The rear seats now fold down entirely electronically and will push the front seats out of the way. The interior now shares many features with the new Model 3 including: screen, center console, steering wheel. Also: seats almost, and most of the features. New, also, is a light bar across the dash that extends to the door panels. There is seating for five. The front seats are both heated and cooled, but the rear seats are only heated.
There is no major change with this Tesla Model Y, but has been improved in all the small areas which is very great.
