The Super Cruise driver assist is comparable to Tesla's basic autopilot. It maintains lane positioning. Auto lane change worked. Super Cruise is useful on straight roads. Tesla’s range estimates are more accurate.The Chevy Equinox EV range estimation had -10 miles in an instance. The estimated arrival percentage was 17%, but the actual arrival was with 19%. The percentage is more accurate than the raw miles. It only charges to 150 KW. A GMC Denali can charge to 350 KW. Tesla's can go to 250 KW.
It can get 70 miles in 10 minutes. The 150KW charging rate is disappointing.
There was a Tesla Supercharger charging issue because the Tesla and Equinox weren't talking to each other. EVgo provided much faster charging. This test demonstrated the stresses of EV charging.
The RS trim does 0-60 in 5.8 seconds but feels slower than a Model Y. Comfort is great, with smooth suspension that absorbs all bumps. The handling isn’t as good, though. You can change steering and brake feel. In sport mode, it has a fake engine sound.
It has the double parcel shelf. Storage space is 52.7 cubic feet, less than the Model Y at 72 cubic feet. Some plastic and some gloss black. You need buttons, so this car's got them; good for climate.
The RS model looks sexy. Carbon fiber grill on the front. It's a nice interior for the price. Not too bad of an interior at 35,000.
The starting price of this model is $35,000. For the all-wheel-drive, it's 40,000 and fully loaded is $55,000. It has 319 miles of range and has the 7,500 tax credit. Because they are all made in the USA, the batteries are made in the USA, you know.

What do I overall think of this car. I think that the Equinox EV, is a good starter EV to anyone who is trying to go into electrical vehicles, because it feels like your driving a gas car. It's made in the USA!
