The reviewed Mercedes B-Class is a small, upmarket SUV. Revised engines, including an electric version, are available. Autonomous braking is now standard across all models. The AMG line offers sportier looks, AMG body styling on bumpers, and a lower ride height than the standard car. The AMG line also has a more upmarket interior. A tablet-style infotainment system is standard on all models, and every model seat is height-adjustable. There’s plenty of storage compartments and cupholders. Three children can easily sit side by side in the back. Good headroom and legroom are present. The boot space is generous, slightly larger than a Ford C-Max; folding down the seats provides a real load lugger. Connect Me is a Mercedes system that allows owners to check fuel level, tire pressure, lock and unlock the car, and contact customer assistance. Direct steering is an option that improves steering response. Though comfortable and easy to drive, this car isn't as engaging as a BMW 2 Series Active Tourer. The car is luxurious but other more affordable alternatives are available.
