NEW Jeep Avenger review – the best Jeep EVER? | What Car?

Video Summary

The Jeep Avenger is a front-wheel-drive, small electric SUV, not sold in the USA, and is made by Stellantis. The Avenger is 20 cm shorter than the e-2008; its footprint is the same size as a VW Polo. Although taller than a small hatchback, its ground clearance is the same as an Audi Q5.

Clever styling tricks give the Avenger the look of a taller vehicle, and black plastic cladding runs all the way around the lower section.

This particular car has decals on the bonnet and along the sides.

The electric motor and battery are different than the e-2008 and Mokka E due to be updated. The Avenger is the first to get a new electric motor and a larger 51 kWh battery. This bigger battery can travel up to 249 miles on a charge.

A 10-80% charge takes 25 minutes and a regular 7 kWh wall box charges it in 8 hours.

355 liters of space in the boot exist. While not as much as the Niro or a ZS, the Avenger has a square opening to more easily load in bulky items. The interior looks upmarket by class standards, with its gold dashboard, but contains a lot of hard plastics. Top-level trims get leather seats. Base trims get a weird, drab-looking gray textured dashboard. The 10.25 inch touch screen infotainment system is standard on all trim levels. In addition the interior is comfortable.

The driving experience is very smooth, and the suspension is soft with fair body roll. With its light controls, the Avenger is great for urban driving.

There are two things that the reviewer likes, and two that he dislikes. It has grey plastic bumpers and cladding to keep paint safe.

The indicator has a drum machine, or music sound that might be very annoying.

The prices start at under 35,000 pounds, and even in the cheapest version you get 16" alloys, automatic climate control, rear parking sensors, and keyless entry. A heat pump is provided to heat the interior effectively in cold weather.
