New Porsche Taycan 70-MPH Highway Range Test! Blows Past EPA Rating

Uploaded 9 months ago by Out of Spec Reviews

Video Summary

The 2025 Porsche Taycan features a 105 kWh gross battery pack. During highway driving at 70 mph, a limited power light may illuminate. However, the car has excellent charging and efficiency. Some older Taycans are known to fully shut off power at zero miles. Drivers can optimize mileage by setting tire pressures to recommended levels and using range mode, which closes the grill shutters and lowers headlight output. Having larger 21 inch Aero wheels is recommended, along with dual ports that allow higher voltage, but they can sometimes be finicky to program on the vehicle. The test yielded 367 miles overall, which is much further than the EPA estimation. Overall, the electric Porsche Taycan is an awesome performing, extremely efficient electric car.
