Video Summary

The new XPeng G6 features a very discreet restyling to preserve its aerodynamics.  The front features new, longer headlights. The logo has been slightly raised. Main modifications include new taillights and a redesigned shield at the rear. It now has a windshield wiper hidden under the spoiler. It has increased in length by only 0.5 cm, now measuring 4.76 meters long.

Dimensions are similar to the Tesla Model Y. Propulsions are available with one motor at the rear, or four-wheel-drive versions with two motors. The single-motor versions have 296 hp, which is better than the previous model's 258 hp. The performance version reaches 487 hp.

The main technical evolution concerns the batteries, which are now LFP lithium iron phosphate, instead of the previously used NMC.  It has more endurant and less costly batteries but they’re heavier, leading to reduced capacity. It now has 80.8 kWh of net capacity, as opposed to 87.5 previously.
It has a large electric tailgate, easy access, and a correct volume of 571 liters. When the backrests are folded, it jumps to 1,374 liters. There’s also a double bottom to store cables and a plug. There is no Frunk.

The Xpeng G6’s back seats are very comfortable with plenty of legroom. It features a good headroom, thanks to a panoramic glass roof. The seat backs can be tilted. There are cupholders, vents, USB-C plugs, armrests, and good storage with a mesh. The windows don’t go all the way down, and are not double-layered in the rear.

Up front, the seats are upholstered in Nappa leather and have electric controls, heating and ventilation, and massage for the driver. The interior has been refined with good lighting. The dashboard is nicely padded. The lower parts are made of rigid plastic. It doesn't feature a glove box. It has two ventilated wireless chargers, cup holders, a deep center console with lining, and USB ports. The steering wheel is oval-shaped.

The multimedia system relies on a new touch screen that can be split. This system is powered by a powerful Nvidia processor. It has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. It has a very powerful sound system with 18 speakers. A smartphone application is also available.

There's a rearview camera, along with a super-high-definition multi-camera system with a 360-degree view. Diameter of turning radius is 11.6 meters. With its 487 HP, the car goes from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds. It has limited one-pedal drive capability. It can theoretically take up to 451 kW of charging power, enabling it to charge from 10 to 80% in just 12 minutes. In alternate current, it has a charger on board with 11 kW.
The car has a seven-year or 160,000 km warranty. Price starts at 46,990 Euros. This performance version costs 50,990 Euros. It is less expensive than the Tesla Model Y Performance, which is 61,990 Euros. The vehicle is stable and has little wind noise. It has an average consumption of 18.4 kWh in WTLP or around 24 kWh on the French highway for about 300 km range. In mixed use, the user can potentially achieve up to 450 km.
