Polestar 4 Review: Much more than gimmicks

Video Summary

The Polestar 4 is aesthetically pleasing, both inside and out. The interior is spacious, and fits three people across in the back with a flat floor. The boot has 526 liters of space, and the front has storage for charging cables. Back seats are well-finished, with cup holders and an adjustable armrest. There is no rear windshield. The lack of a rear windshield is offset by technology. The car comes equipped with 12 cameras plus a fully digital rearview mirror. This technology replaces the cheap, simple, and effective rearview mirror and, for the first few days of driving, made the reviewer angry. After a few days, the digital mirror felt like it was not a blocker to liking the car. The screen is better than one in the Polestar 3, it is horizontally mounted, is easy to use, and displays critical information.  The 268 horsepower engine feels quick and has good throttle response. 20-inch wheels combined with 268 horsepower are a great combination for long drives. The Polestar 4 has a 100-kilowatt-hour battery, capable of rapid charging at 200 kilowatts, which can go 385 miles. The single-motor Polestar 4 has passive suspension. The handling is more GT than sports car, as the steering is accurate and responsive and the car feels balanced. It's considered serene. Near new Polestar 4s are selling for between £40 and £45,000, and are well worth the money.
