Tesla officially announced a new Model YL, called a Luxury SUV. Tesla is making supercharger upgrades, as well. There are new owner upgrades available. The new summer update is rolling out; however, not everyone can get it, causing frustration. New “light syncing” and onboarding guides are now available. The main feature of the update is virtual assistant Grok, which is only available for AMD-based Teslas, leading to frustration from owners with Intel chips. Tesla is actively developing and testing Airplay, reverse smart summon (Banish mode), high-fidelity audio (Dolby Atmos), and Waze integration for its mapping system, but they have yet to be released. Customers are able to add a front bumper camera to older Model Y models.There is a possibility that a new six-seat version of the Model Y with an extended wheelbase may be released to the market; it is expected to be more luxurious. Some of these cars have been driving with prototypes and have been seen with wheel covers. This Model YL will have new wheels and gold or champagne-colored paint. An end of Q4 release of the YL with a 400-420 mile range is expected. A new Model 3 plus variant will also be released with a 380 mile range.
