The interior has Alcantara and leather materials. It smells like leather and has a lot of nice material choices throughout. The seats are very nice.
The backseat has electronic door latches, more legroom than in a Model S, A/C, a screen for heated seats that heat very fast, and climate controls. It has a good rear seat experience. There is also access to the trunk and the armrest has two cup holders.
A regular trunk instead of a hatchback style helps the back seat experience. However, the truck opening is a weird shape. The front trunk is readily accessible.
Lucid’s software is better than before. It has a huge screen in which you cannot touch and another touchscreen on the left. It has three modes: Smooth, Swift, and Sprint. The modes bundle the suspension softness, steering weight, and how low the car is, into three buttons. It does not stay in Swift or Sprint if that is what you were on when you turned the car off. The glove box button is on the touchscreen.
Aesthetically, the reviewer thinks the car is ugly. It does, however, have impressive lighting and some functional air pockets.
Electric cars are getting interesting. Lucid is proving that, with enough R&D, you can create a nice car.
