This five-door looks aggressive with N badge and little orange trim going all the way around the vehicle. Pzeros are on all four tires, as well as great-looking rims. Good styling has been maintained. The back has a fastback look and orange accents. The back seats have the N on the bucket seats. There is good leg room, but no sunroof in the back.
There is a redesigned center console, plus wireless Apple CarPlay or Android Auto. Capacitive buttons and physical buttons mixed. Seat and side adjustments are manual. The performance is similar to the EV6GT. Range is sacrificed for performance. About 200 miles. Not great for road trips.
With an 84-kilowatt hour battery, in N mode it emulates a gas car; it sounds like a gas car, it is going to shift gears like a gas car and there’s a speaker right behind the head for the gas sounds, plus there is also an external speaker outside of the car for others to hear. In N shift and race mode, it’s actually slower because of shift point delays. In all modes, there’s torque increase at higher RPMS. The test car was priced at $69,000.
