The Vinfast VF6 and VF7 are new electric car models launched in India. Vinfast provides free charging until July 2028, and free maintenance for three years upon purchase of either the VF6 or VF7.

The VF6 starts at 16.49 lakhs, while the VF7 goes up to 25 lakhs, representing a 10 lakh price bracket between the two. These cars are rivals to the Creta EV, the BE6, and the Curvv EV.

The VF6 comes in three variants: Earth, Wind, and Wind Infinity. The base car gets 175 bhp and 250 nm of torque, while the more expensive version gets 201 bhp and 310 nm of torque. The MIDC range for the Earth variant is 468 km, and the Wind variant is 463 km.

The VF7 has two battery pack options and five variants, starting with the Earth variant, which includes a 59.6 kWh battery pack for a claimed range of 438 km. As for the Power output, the Power and Torque output is similar to the VF6 that means You get 175 Break-Horse-Power and 215 Newton Meters of torque. The second variant is called Wind, which comes with a Larger 70.8 kWh battery pack. And the Power and Torque output is 201 And 310NM. As for the range, the claim range for the Wind Variant is 532 Kilometers on a Single charge. The dual motor version, Sky, produces 350 bhp and 500 nm of torque.

The VF7 interior is unique and familiar at the same time because of the driver-oriented 12.9 inch screen. The UI and response on the screen is simple, though display is crisp. Features in the cars include a large display, Level 2 ADAS, climate control, and a driver monitoring system. There's plenty of soft-touch finish.
The rear features a dual-tone color interior, air vents, phone charging, and a fixed glass roof, though space and under-thigh support is somewhat poor. There are no window blinds, and the windows are small. It comes with a power tailgate, with an OK but narrow boot.

The VF6 and VF7 are EVs that provide a premium experience with free charging and maintenance.  Vinfast is setting up a manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu, and plan to have showrooms in up to 27 major cities; over 35 showrooms total.
