The Sierra EV offers rear-wheel steering, tightening the turning radius. The crab walk feature is gimmicky.
The Sierra EV has a unique bed. Midgate sections fold 60/40 style like an SUV. Removing the glass panel and folding the rest allows for almost 11 ft of space. The Lightning has a smaller 5.5-foot bed. Power outlets are abundant in both trucks.
There's eleven cubic feet of front trunk space in the GMC, and just over fourteen in the Ford, making Ford’s front trunk more usable. The Sierra EV has tie-down points that are not as robust.
