Video Summary

The Xiaomi SU7, especially the Max model, has design influenced by the Porsche Taycan. Previously available in gray, green, and blue, six new colors have been released. Interestingly, the more eye-catching colors are priced lower than white or black, because the manufacturer wants the car to make an impression on Chinese streets. The SU7 is 4.99 meters in length, 1.96 meters in width, and 1.4 meters in height.

The standard and Pro models share an electric motor in the rear. The Max adds another motor to the front. This dual-motor system gives the Max model a higher power output of 495 kW and a range of 800 kilometers. The standard model offers a range of 600 km, and the Pro offers 830 km. The top of the line SU7 model accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 2.7 seconds, and reaches 200 km/h in 10+ seconds.

Entering the car with a key card is a curious option for starting the vehicle. Also, turning on the start stop button will cause the instrument panel to spin into view. Drivers can switch between driving modes. One mode has enhanced aerodynamics through a lower front end clearance and extending the rear spoiler. With many safety features shared by other manufacturers, an ecosystem connects the vehicle to the driver’s house with smart home functions. There are 12 cameras, 11 sensors, and a lidar on top of the car. However, the Max model has two cameras instead, for even more precision.

The Xiaomi SU7 is designed for customization. With its minimalist design, the interior can be customized with “add-on” items. These items are sold separately for that purpose. There is a 16.1-inch 3K resolution central touch screen, and you can install a tablet for those sitting in the back. It can recognize up to 5 screens. Even a mini-refrigerator can be installed! The roof is a fully transparent, polarized, glass panel. This allows a broader feeling within the car, while also limiting excess light.

The chassis can be changed out easily like Legos. Price in China starts at around 28,000 euros for the normal model, 32,000 euros for the pro model, and 39,000 for the Max model. There is no date as to if or when the car will be available in Spain and the rest of Europe. The car is very customizable.
