Video Summary

The Xpeng G9 measures 4,891 mm long and 1,937 mm wide.
The massage function on the front seats is one of the best in any EV.
There is an inconvenient step between the folded seats and trunk floor.
The Chinese EVs, that use local made air suspension systems, don't match the G9 in comfort and body control.
Unlike most cars, to open the charging door the infotainment system has to be used.
The windows are single pane. The Xpeng G7 is fitted with double glazed acoustic glass up front.
No weird hesitation and no awkward back and forth for the auto-parking, just one smooth motion right into the space.

There are now three simple trims, and a much lower price, to correct the pricing issues of previous versions.
The partition between the rear seats and trunk doesn’t open.
Power is not fully available in sport mode until the pedal is pushed past half-way.
There are seven airbags fitted to the G9.
For the taillights and front lights, they’re mostly unchanged from the previous models.
Laser sensors under the headlights are now plastic trim pieces.
There is an upgraded to 4D radar sensor.
The G9 is fitted with Michelin Pilot Sport EV tires.
Underneath, it uses a dual chamber vibrac air suspension system with Bilstein dampers.
They didn’t cheap out on the tires with Michelin’s pilot sports.
All versions of the G9 come standard with ventilated, heated, massaging Napa leather seats.
The interior layout is pretty much unchanged, still the dual 14.96 inch screens.
There is a more powerful Qualcomm 8295 P chip, with 2.5 times the computing power.
