For 2025, the Mini Cooper EV SE is a ground-up revolution, not just a refresh! This new generation, built in China, boasts a slick, minimalist design, ditching much of the chrome for a cleaner look. Inside, it’s a tech-fest with a stunning circular OLED screen running Mini's new OS 9. Most importantly, the SE gets a significantly larger 49.2 kWh battery (usable) compared to its predecessor, meaning much more usable range and oomph. The 2025 Cooper SE flaunts a fresh, modern exterior that's still unmistakably Mini. It’s more minimalist, with smoother surfaces and cool new matrix LED taillights that you can customize! Dimensions are a compact 3858 mm long, 1756 mm wide (no mirrors), and 1460 mm tall, perfect for city streets. The SE trim often gets sportier bumpers and unique alloy wheel designs, giving it a bit more visual clout than the standard Cooper E. Energy consumption is rated at a decent 5.85 km/kWh. AC charging via its CCS Type 2 port is handled by a standard 11 kW on-board charger, meaning a full top-up takes roughly 5 hours. Hook it up to a DC fast charger, and it’ll accept power at up to 95 kW, getting you from 10-80% in about 30 minutes. Ideal for quick turnarounds!
