It is built on the same platform as the Hyundai Ioniq 5. The EV6, however, has its own styling. The GT-Line model shows styling elements of the GT. The front is the next evolution of the Tiger Nose grill and the design language shows very distinctive LED daytime running lights. It features duel-level reflectors on the headlights, LED turn signals, grill openings, and a black splitter. The paint comes in a matte gray color, which is available on the first edition. The wheelbase is 114 inches, the same as the Telluride.
Kia calls this a CUV, but it looks more like a hatchback. Under the hood are two different battery packs: 58-kilowatt hour and 77.4-kilowatt hour. The base model accelerates from zero to 60 in around seven seconds and the dual motor is around five seconds.

It has half-size panel roof and a 0.28 coefficient of drag. There’s a small area hidden behind a panel for the charge port door. Kia says this runs on either 400 or 800-volt charging. Charging from 10 to 80 percent on a 350 kilowatt charger takes 18 minutes. It has overnight charging in 7 hours with the onboard 11-kilowatt hour charger.

The interior looks high-tech and futuristic with two 12-inch displays for the infotainment and instrument panel. It has features such as wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, and a premium sound system. A drive mode selector is on the wheel to switch between eco, normal, and sport modes. It has a high-powered premium sound system, and the seat is a two-tone design with suede alcantara.

It also features a low roofline. Seats adjust 10 to 12 different ways, with power lumbar. It has a power lumbal and floating center console.

It is also designed with a small frunk in the all-wheel drive version. The all-wheel drive model has a frunk, but the rear-drive model has a deeper frunk.

The new All-electric EV6 has very good qualities for Kia, priced at approximately $40,000, making it in line with competitors.
