The electric vehicle has surprising space in the back and rear cargo area. However, it has no device charging ports in the back. The basic model is 600 hp and goes to 900 hp in the R model. The 0-60 time is 4.7 seconds in the base and under 3 seconds on the R model. It is all-wheel drive, but the Range setting changes to front-wheel drive to maximize the approx. 315-mile range. The test drive determined that the Eletra performs well for an electric SUV.
The main demerits are a high price tag and no third-row seating, and an overall Doug score of 68.
