Video Summary

The S6 Sportback e-tron is an all-new model. The '6's were traditionally electric vehicles. The S6 is a sportback version of the A6. The platform, called PPE, is shared among Audi EVs. It has a sloping roofline, and it is low to the ground like a sedan. The platform shares much of the componentry. The geometry on the components is a little bit different. You get a new light signature, with illumination choreography. The Audi badge also illuminates.

The ultra package includes a 19-inch wheel and all-season tires, which can help with efficiency. However, that package can't be added to the S6. The S6 comes standard with 20-inch wheels and can be upgraded to 21-inch wheels. The standard, larger wheels mean the range may be more compromised. The car has a dual motor set-up, or Audi Quattro, and 543 horsepower. Range is still over 300 miles, up to 324 miles.

The S6’s drag coefficient of 0.23 matches the Lucid Air. The charging maxes out at 270 kilowatts for charging from 10% to 80% in about 21 minutes.

It gets a frunk. For shorter drivers the placement of controls is well designed. The car is sleek and simple but also elegant and lovely. The design of the interior is very Audi; it's very simple, very elegant, and very clean. Allcantara is lovely. Audi's newer touch screen set-ups operate with haptic feedback. On the one hand they offer better feedback, on the other, they're sensitive.
There are three trim levels available with the A6 and S6.
The starting price of the Audi A6 premium with a single motor rear wheel drive system is $67,195 including destination.
The premium S6 is $79,995 including destination. The prestige trim, which is reviewed in this video, starts at $86,000.
