Video Summary

The 2025 Chevy Blazer EV SS is the quickest SS Chevy has produced. The overall body stays the same but some visual cues separate the SS from the LT and RS models. The LT model has body-color across the front, the RS has more black, and the SS has a whole lot more black. The SS also has a gun-metal gray lip. The SS has a black roof line that visually lowers the vehicle. Black accents run down the sides and very closely match the RS. The shark fin, aero-piece design is more stylistic than functional.

Standard is a 22-inch wheel. Tiers include different tires and summer tires in the performance package. Standard all-season tires, Brembo 6-piston brakes are also standard, in the front only. Suspension is tweaked, the Anti-roll bars, front, and rear springs are all stiffened.

There is not adaptive suspension or air suspension. There is a shorter overhang. Has black rear spoilers. White taillights are given for the SS. Lots of space given, with near-flat back seating. Has plenty of capacity that matches.

Has 615 hp and 650 lb-ft. of torque with a 102 kWh battery. Has a single speed transmission. Has 11.5 kW AC L2 charging and 190 kW DC charging. It’s a dual-motor all-wheel drive layout, that is rear powered. The performance requires “Wide Open Watts” setting.

The interior is similar to other Blazer EVs, with a few considerations. The EVSS comes with pretty much every feature. There are two interior color options: bright red or darker gray with orange accents, found in seating, seatbelt, steering wheel and other accent points. There is no Apple Carplay or Android Auto due to it being a General Motors vehicle with the Chevrolet infotainment center. It has Google Maps and services built in, as a replacement for other phone integration systems. There are buttons for climate, with a knob and a touch screen. A chime wireless charging area has some space. Up top has 2 reading lights, along with your controls for the panoramic sunroof.

The charging is only 190kW DC, which is less than others. This car is well-balanced with long wheel base, with some wobbling due to the size.

The purchase price for this loaded car is approximately $63,000.
