The infotainment screen is just under 13 inches, ultra-sharp with good resolution. Functionality is just fine and takes time to get used to it. No built-in satellite navigation is provided. It is wired for a smartphone mirroring and the wireless feature is absent. That aspect could be improved. There are issues with app connectivity in Australia. All controls were still functional at the top and customisable.
In terms of safety you get a lot of features. Autodimming rearview mirror and blind spot monitoring. Radar cruise control is here with the semi-autonomous steering function. 360 camera. Overall, the adaptive dampers are really comfortable. On rough roads, there is plenty of body control and the car gives the vibe of quality craftsmanship. Overall. Volkswagen ID.4 is a good car at this price. Downsides include a brake pedal feel, the lack of a charging schedule function, and the quality of app. These issues don't outweigh all of the strengths in his perspective.
