Uploaded 1 year ago by Autoesporte

Video Summary

The ORA 03 starts at R$150,000 for the Skin version. The GT version costs R$184,000. Visually, the ORA 03 has a Porsche and Mini Cooper-like style, with round LED headlights. The GT version has exclusive details that imitate carbon fiber and red accents. The taillight is integrated into the windshield, a rare feature. It is 4.25 meters long with a 2.65-meter wheelbase. The trunk has a capacity of 228 liters and does not include a spare tire; instead, there's a repair kit.

The interior has high-quality finishes superior to those of the BYD Dolphin, with rubberized parts and different materials. The GT version includes a red interior finish. The vehicle is equipped with seven airbags, a wireless phone charger, a 360-degree camera, emergency braking with pedestrian and cyclist recognition, and automatic pilot. The GT version also has a panoramic sunroof and massage and ventilation in the front seats.

The ORA 03 has a 161hp electric motor with 25.5 kgfm of torque. The autonomy of the Skin version, according to Inmetro, is 319 km. Autonomy information for the GT version has not been released. A problematic aspect highlighted is the brake, which needs some getting used to.

Compared with the BYD Dolphin, the ORA 03 feels more agile and responsive.  The reviewer found that using the turn signal indicator in the bumper is a questionable design that is difficult to see from a close distance.

The reviewer appreciates the ORA 03 and BYD competition in the Brazilian market, as they deliver great value and are leading to cheaper EVs with many features. In september, 1,036 BYD Dolphins were sold.
