I drove MG Marvel R Performance until the battery died

The MG Marvel R was taken down to 24% battery to see what happens when the battery dies. An EcoFlow Delta Max extra battery was brought along as a charging device. There were sufficient warnings before the car stopped, making the actual range somewhat reliable. There is linear power drop for predictability, but the car displays dashes rather than kilometers when range is lower than 20 km. A power limit appears around 40%. The car stopped at 1% battery power with a “Battery Power Depleted” message, even with a power meter for a linear power drop. After hooking up the charging device, the car’s software had some issues as the charging process seemed to be bugged until the reviewer put the key inside the car.
