Video Summary

The Audi E-Tron Sportback is based on the E-Tron 95-kilowatt-hour battery pack, has 300-kilowatt electric motors (one at the front and one at the back) for a quattro four-wheel drive system.

This car is more aero efficient than the original E-Tron. It has about 7 miles more range.

The Sportback roof line reduces headroom by 20 millimeters, and it reduces the boot space by about 45 liters.

With these numbers, its boot is still bigger than the Jaguar I-Pace. It also drives in a more sporting fashion than the regular E-Tron. It can decouple the front drivetrain completely, so it is rear-wheel-drive for most of the time, which makes it more interesting to drive, even though it is less Quattro.

Digital Matrix LED headlights mask out different areas and can create a carpet of light. They can also project images. The car has a high level of soundproofing.

Optional cameras replace side mirrors and cost about £1500, a feature that isn't very worthwhile and the screens are not in a good position.

There are grooves to represent charge bars. The charging port is slick and located on both sides of the car and you can charge up to 150-kilowatts DC, which can charge the battery from 0 to 80 % in about 30 minutes.

This S-Line car with the options comes in at about £89,000, whereas a Model X with a 100kW battery starts at £85,000 and a Jaguar I-pace at 65,000. The Model X has more miles on one charge and is quicker.

The car has two motors 408 horsepower and the range comes to 241 miles WTLP. It weighs over 2.5 tons.
