Kia's EV3 is the volume seller, more affordable, and has compact dimensions. This car has been designed with a philosophy of "opposites united," incorporating different shapes. Though medium-sized, the new EV3 offers an 8.85m width.The EV3 uses the same E-GMP platform as the EV6 and EV9; it pushes the wheels out to the corners. The base EV3 offers a 58-plus kWh battery, with the long-range version getting 81 kWh. The range is a claimed 350 miles. Vehicle-to-load and vehicle-to-grid tech is included, as well as relatively quick charging speeds of around 100kW.
Inside, the baby EV9 has a similar interior to the EV9. Though the head is good in the front, 6-foot, 5-inch passengers might find it compromised in the back due to the sloping roofline. EV9 relaxation seats have been used in the front, which results in a higher seating position than standard. The volume is a good size for the car with, 460 liters (a nice flat floor is provided), and when you fold the back seats down, you will have 1,250 liters.
There is in-car entertainment, Netflix, streaming apps, and mobile games with phone-to-screen connectivity. Physical switches for fan speed and temperature remain.
