Video Summary

The reviewed electric car is the facelifted Opel Corsa-e/Corsa Electric, a sixth-generation car. The front of the car has been redesigned with the new Opel Vizor, resembling older Opel models and giving it a discreet look; some find it difficult to easily recognize the vehicle as an Opel because the logo is discreetly black. The taillights now say "Corsa" and have a small "e" or "electric" emblem. The interior includes a fully digital instrument cluster and thankfully Opel has kept an integrated infotainment screen rather than one that appears aftermarket.

The car features wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, navigation with a new processor, faster response times, and improved graphics. Over-the-air software updates are available. The vehicle's driving experience is adequate; it performs well, but does not offer a wow factor. The trunk size is 267 liters, and it increases to over 1000 liters with the rear seats folded down, with the caveat that the seats don’t go completely flat. Lane assist can now be easily disabled by using a button near the gear selector.

The car is available with 156 equivalent horsepower, and can still be purchased with 136 hp. The car’s has an updated battery and increased range of over 400 kilometers, compared to the older range of 357 km. It does 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 8.1 seconds and reaches a top speed of 150 kilometers per hour. The battery capacity is 51 kWh.

The test driver isn't fond of the new paint job (graphic gray). The car now comes with 14 LED lighting units, with an improved sharper/better look.

The expected price is around 275,000 Danish Kroner.
