The i-cockpit system involves a compact steering wheel which can have a sporty feel in combination with the electric drive line. It was noted, however, that drivers with longer or shorter arms may find the i-cockpit setup to not work for them.
The electric drive is direct and provides enough power to drive smoothly with quick acceleration.
The car overall is not the fastest electric car with only 156 PK, even though that makes it a fun ride. For mild hybrid and gas versions, the power can range from 75 - 136 PK.
The 208 starts at 24,000 euro with a gas version with 75 HP without hybrid assistance. The E-208 starts at 35,000 euro with the smallest battery and a 136 HP motor.
