Range: Standard range is about 460 km, long range 570 km, and AWD long range is 520 km.

It is built upon 800V architecture. It has an 11 kW on-board charger. The performance version has 550 hp and 717 Nm of torque, accelerating from 0-100 km/h in 3.9 seconds. Luggage space is 660 liters. Rear seats offer a lot of foot and knee space with a completely flat floor and dual control over the position of the front seats.

Its interior has leather with a sound system.

Some aspects of the car's design, such as the steering, is similar to Tesla. The horizontal light bar is considered too simplistic. The front end's response is communicative. The Brembo brakes felt strong and the ride is a comfortable. Cruise control works well. Average consumption measured around 26 kWh/100 km.

A bit of a learning curve to the infotainment system but the infotainment system is advanced.

It does not include Android Auto or Apple Carplay; XPeng uses its system. The over-the-air updates are a plus.

The G9 is quite enjoyable. It is competitive, well-specced, has good range and charging speeds, feels well-built, has great technology, a luxurious interior, and is a comfortable drive.
