Video Summary

The Smart vehicle system has been updated to the Smart OS 1.3.2 EU version with new optimized features.

Battery temperature pre-conditioning is recommended before using DC charging. Turning on the switch on your way to a charging station pre-conditions the high-voltage battery to the optimal temperature for rapid charging and automatically turns off when the optimal temperature is reached. This feature can only be turned on while driving.

Car wash mode is available. You can open the dropdown menu, enter Smart modes, and select Car Wash mode. You can choose between Automatic Wash mode and Hand Wash mode. In Automatic Wash mode, the car automatically adjusts certain functions like folding exterior mirrors, closing windows, disabling the windshield wiper, and disabling "Approach to Unlock/Walk Away to Lock". When all functions show a green icon, confirm, and the car will be in car wash mode. In Hand Wash mode, the car automatically adjusts functions like closing windows, disabling the windshield wiper, turning off AC, disabling "Approach to Unlock/Walk Away to Lock", turning on Screen cleaning mode, turning on "Entertainment Mode", disabling "gesture tailgate", and locking the charging port cover. Hand Wash Mode is not available when the battery level is below 20%. When the car wash is finished, manually turn off the switch or the car wash mode will automatically turn off when the car's speed exceeds 20km/h.

Valet mode protects privacy when lending the vehicle. There are two ways to enter Valet mode: tap the user icon in the top right corner or open the dropdown menu and enter Smart modes, then select Valet Mode. Set your password for Valet mode. The system will reboot with the Valet interface, log out your profile ID, enter Visitor mode, and disable Bluetooth, voice control, and multimedia functions. When the car is locked, Valet mode will not end automatically; you need to manually turn it off in the central display by typing the password. The system will then reboot, and the central display will go back to the original interface with your profile ID restored to the last valid ID. The driver's seat adjusts to the most recent position under the current ID. With the Hello smart APP updated to the latest version, drivers can exit Valet mode within the APP. No password is required when exiting Valet mode within the APP if the Online Service on the central display is activated.

Emergency lane keep assist switch can be activated depending on your driving habits. Tap the vehicle icon, select Driving Assistance, and find the Emergency Lane Keeping Assist on the Safety page. While driving, if the system detects that the car is in danger of collision with a vehicle in the adjacent lane or collision with the curbs, the ELKA switch, if activated, will actively control the steering system to keep the car in the current lane. When the switch is turned off, there will be a second confirmation pop-up that the system will not be able to provide steering assist and your vehicle may be at risk of a collision. The button is disabled when the car has relevant DTC or goes into trailer mode.

Optimization of easy entry is improved. When you open the driver's door to exit, the seat will automatically move back to facilitate exiting the car. When the car is locked, the seat will remain in the same position as when exiting the vehicle without moving forward. Next time you open the driver's door to get in, the forward seat movement will be triggered by closing the driver's door instead of pressing the brake pedal.

Fix the issue of online service switch to ensure smooth usage of the mobile app. The switch will remain open when you left the car, and you can still use the remote controls on the app. Update now and experience the new features. Enjoy your journey.
