Video Summary

The 2025 Opel Corsa GS Line has a design that differentiates it from other Opel models. When viewed from the side, it becomes apparent that it is special, with bi-color 16-inch alloy wheels, gloss black B-pillars, and a black roof. Premium touches include blacked-out badging, a gloss black roof spoiler, and twin tailpipes.

The interior has more plush materials in a darker color scheme. It features a leather-wrapped multi-function steering wheel and a 7-inch color screen as an instrument cluster. A 10-inch infotainment system comes with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, which performs well, but lacks wireless Carplay. Other standard features are automatic climate control only available on the GS Line, an armrest, an electronic handbrake, black roof lining, and heated partial leather seats for the front passengers that have a massage function for the driver.

Regarding practicality, there are smaller spaces around the cabin, and one of the smallest glove boxes available. There are also cup holders in each door bin and two cup holders between the front passenger and driver.
The rear seat area is not spacious, although comparable to rivals. The rear passengers do not have air con vents, charging points, or cup holders. Boot space is 309 liters. The full-size spare tire is underneath the boot mat. The 50/50 split rear seats can be dropped to allow 1118 liters of cargo space.

The Opel Corsa GS Line comes with a 1.2L turbo petrol engine that produces 96kW of power and 230 Nm of torque, and is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission. Acceleration from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour occurs in 8.7 seconds. It has a top speed of 208 kilometers per hour. Opel claims fuel consumption is 5.7L per 100 kilometers, but a more realistic estimate is around 7.5L, or 8.0L when driven aggressively.
The car is fantastic to drive, with good noise cancellation and confident corner handling.

An array of safety features are standard, including blind-spot monitoring, lane keep assist, six airbags, hill start assist, and collision mitigation braking. A top-of-the-range model costs 469,500 Rand. Financing that over 72 months at 11% interest with no deposit and no balloon payment will result in monthly installments of 8,950 Rand.

Overall, the GS Line is a compelling package, despite potentially being the least popular model. It comes with a 3-year/45,000 km service plan, and a 5-year/100,000 km warranty with roadside assistance.
