The Hyundai Ioniq 9 is based on the Kia EV9, its sister car. The Ioniq 9 is coming along later and there's a good chance it will actually be better. Starting on the interior, a long screen dominates. Graphics are crisp, but the many menus can be a bit confusing. Some settings are weather, calendar, sports, valet mode and settings. You can move the screens around where you want. The drive selector switch is on the steering column. The build quality of the switches is nice. Overall, the interior quality is really quite good. The steering wheel feels nice. So are these materials, which are a soft leatherette. The sponge is so deep on the armrest.
This car has plenty of cubby spaces and they are huge. With all seven seats in place the boot space is 338 liters, about the same as Hyundai i20 hatchback. A big boot capacity, though it is something when you can carry seven people. However, with these six seats, you can move the seats all the way back for good foot space. It can also recline. Isofix are easily added to the middle seats. The option of digital door mirrors cost an extra 1,000 pounds, but aren't really worth it and are nowhere near as good as normal door mirrors. It didn't feel like 427 horsepower in Eco mode when you're starting out. You have the driving modes Snow, Mud and Sand.
