The Denali trim boasts heated and ventilated seats and a heated steering wheel; the materials of the steering wheel interrupt the heat in cold weather. Materials inside feel nice and the center console is huge and customizable.
Regarding tech, the Sierra EV has a giant tablet-style touchscreen in the center.
On the road, the Sierra EV is stable and has effortless acceleration. The adaptive air suspension offers a nice ride. For 4-wheel driving, its front and rear motors offer flexible control. Visibility is not great because of the mirror sizes.
The Sierra EV has a dual-motor with 760 horsepower and 785 pound-feet of torque. It is capable of 800-volt DC fast charging and the presenter experienced quick charging.
The max range of the Denali extended range is 390 miles, but the max range version is 460 miles. Driving range experienced a slight dip during cold temperatures.
With a full tank of gas, the gas version Sierra 1500 averages a 456 mile range.
The Sierra EV Denali’s base price is around $92,000 and tested it was over $102,000, close to the Cybertruck cyberbeast and the Rivian R1T tri-motor. The F150 lightning Platinum trim is more affordable at about $87,000.
