Video Summary

Findings from the review:

-The Volvo C40 Recharge is the brother/sister to the XC40.
-It comes in eight different color options. The color of the vehicle tested is called Fjord Blue.
-The front of the car looks rather beefy and not so pleasant compared to its profile.
-There is a blanked out grill.
-It has Thor Pixel LED headlights.
-At the rear C pillar, the CX is more SUV like while this is a sports coupe.
-The mirrors are automatic folding and auto-dimming.
-The rear sloping hatchback has a large LED brake light system that is animated and is the largest that Volvo makes.
-Looks are subjective but the back of the car looks its best.
-The under-lip button to the boot can be activated by motion of the foot.
-The boot is small, 413 liters.
-With the seats down, the cargo capacity increases to 1205 liters.
-There is a 31-liter frunk.
-It can tow up to 1500 kilograms on the single motor version, or up to 1800 kilograms on the twin. Both have brakes.
-It has a tonneau partition that can divide it into two, and includes hooks to hang bags. It also accesses under the boot space but you could not fit a spare tire in that space.
-There is no walk-away lock like a Tesla.
-Unlocking can be done with a hand press or the phone app.

-It can seat up to five people, although the middle rear seat will not be comfortable on a long journey. This is due to the transmission tunnel, a legacy from the petrol versions.
-Heated outer rear seats and four USB sockets exist.
-The door barely fits a small 600ml water bottle.
-There is good knee and headroom.
-All electric windows have a full auto function.

-The C40 comes in either a single or twin motor, along with plus or ultimate packs.
-The tested version is the ultimate pack.
-Driving the C40 is great; it is very smooth.
-Driving modes are thankfully absent. You only have one pedal driving option, and steering firmness.
-A 12" display exists for the driver with all the features you need. Front and center you've got this 9 inch display with Android Automotive.
-It has more than ten over-the-air updates included in the price.
-The center screen has a 9" display that has Android Automotive but it is not a full Android Auto experience. But with Apple iPHones, the car supports Apple CarPlay.
-The screen's imput lag isn't bad.
