Video Summary

The electric car tested is the Volkswagen ID.7. The car was tested on the Autobahn. The tested car comes with an 82 kWh gross capacity battery. Volkswagen has two variants of charging curve, one at 185 kW that peaks then drops, and one with a flatter charging curve at 135 kW. This car seems to have the flatter charging curve. The reviewer assumes there will be a bigger 92 kWh gross capacity battery coming.

The charge port has been changed to go upwards for better winter protection. There's no button to stop charging at the port. The newest version shows charging speed in kW. At 47% charge, the car was charging at 122 kW. The reviewer estimates 35 minutes to finish charging. The 90 test in the rain, and the car seems like a fairly efficient electric car. The 180 km per hour sprints didn't seem to drain the battery.
