Video Summary

The GT Performance trim of the Mach-E is a really good value proposition. At $88,000 Canadian, it’s cheap relative to the numbers it posts. At 480 horsepower and 634 lb-ft of torque, it delivers a quarter-mile time of 12.4 seconds. It weighs over 5,000 pounds. Despite these numbers, the car is a good value proposition. The car has a range of just over 300 kilometers, a lower number than the 418 Ford posts. It has 20-inch wheels with Pirelli tires. Charging at home has been adequate with a 120-volt charger. The Mustang thing has been done well with value of performance. It handles well thanks to the MagneRide suspension. Due to the weight, you cannot escape mass; it feels a bit like an "ED" issue.

The performance isn't good enough for the price. They would make their own spec of the Mach-E if they could. They said that for the price they would just get the normal Mach-E. One caveat of this model is that it can do full power for only five seconds. It’s fun to drive around town; EVs are often better for this. On a good note, it has an incredibly easy single gear. Wireless CarPlay has been glitchy.

Despite these shortcomings, the driver is pleased with the interior and steering; The driver found the seats to be a big improvement over the seats on past Mach-E models. The reviewer called out that the performance isn’t adequate, and the car is not nimble enough. The reviewer did not have a high level of faith in the car’s regenerative braking power; it's not a perfectly linear pedal.
