Video Summary

The Cadillac Celestiq is a flagship sedan starting around $350,000 and only 400 units are made per year. This low-volume production car has a different design with massive aluminum castings. This cuts down on the parts count making it stronger than any GM car ever made. There are very different manufacturing techniques that depend on volume.
Key specs include a 111-kilowatt-hour battery pack with an EPA rating of 303 miles of range and 655 horsepower from two motors, and 646 pound-feet of torque resulting in a zero to sixty speed of 3.7 seconds.
The long-range radars in the back have the radar equipment completely behind body panels. There is also the absence of door handles.
The comfort and ride quality is exceptional because it has an air suspension with magnetic ride control, which they say is the world’s fastest responding suspension plus active roll control which is the first used in a Cadillac. It also has electronic sway bars/anti-roll bars. The vehicle is capable of 0 degrees of roll gradient.
There is a lot of technology in the front and rear and the inside is immaculate and has great material. Some aluminum is used and has the metal redirecting the sun into your eyes. The Legroom is just .4 inches more in the front, 2.1 inches more in the rear and 1.4+ more cargo space than a similar vehicle. Its trunk is only 1.9ft3.
