Lancia Ypsilon: Elettrica, ibrida o HF?

Uploaded 1 year ago by Alberto Sabbatini

Video Summary

The Lancia Ypsilon is now available in both electric and mild hybrid versions.

The exterior design and fittings of both versions are nearly identical.

The electric version has closed air intakes on the front due to the absence of a water radiator.

All Lancia Ypsilon models have the same rear design with LED halo taillights, reminiscent of the Lancia Stratos.

They are offered in various colors, carefully matching external paint and internal velvet seat colors.

The car is a four-door hatchback (five with the hatch), with rear door handles hidden in the pillar to give a coupe-like look.

It's 4.08 meters long, with the electric version featuring a 156 horsepower engine, and the petrol-powered version coming with a 1.2-liter three-cylinder hybrid engine with 100 horsepower overall.

Adas and central tray table are common in all trims.

The electric Ypsilon accelerates from 0 to 100km/h in 8.2 seconds with a WLTP mileage of approximately 14.6 kWh/100km and an autonomy of 403km.

The hybrid version accelerates in 9.3 seconds and covers 18km per liter in city use.

The accelerator paddle is absent, and the regenerative braking is activated via a switch on the dashboard.

An issue with the interior is that climate control keys are difficult to reach as well as the small lighting in the dark.

The LX mild hybrid version is priced at approximately 27,900 euros, the LX basic at 24,900.

A HFRally4 will be launched by 2025, which is a 212HP racing version to be used by new drivers.
