The NIO ET7 provides a nice and smooth ride, almost like a Mercedes EQS with the soft suspension settings. The steering and overall driving feel is like that of a German car. Interior is comfortable, even though second row cannot be folded down limiting some of the usability.The NIO auto-steer function is a disaster and worse than that on Teslas, while driving around corners. Power steering reminders are often intrusive. Car sometimes produces phantom brakes. Battery consumption and range are similar to many other legacy automakers, with lower efficiency than Tesla in winter conditions; high weight likely contributes to range issues. While 140 kW charging is claimed, only 110 kW has been observed. Battery has a heat setting. If it is engaged the battery heat is only 2kW.
Generally, The NIO ET7 has a good value for money, especially with battery as a service. The rear seats of the car have plentiful space. All said, car needs software improvements.
