Video Summary

Here is the summary of the YouTube video car review:

The Audi A6 e-tron is the first fully electric mid-size sedan from Audi. The "e-tron" designation will now only identify the electric versions.

The new A6 e-tron is based on the Premium Platform Electric (PPE) platform. The combustion engine A6 will use the premium combustion platform used by the current A5 and Q5. The next A6 with combustion engines was planned to become A7, but this is no longer the case.

The dimensions of the car are 4.93m long with a 2.95m wheelbase, a 1.92m width and a 1.53m height. The exterior mirrors include cameras.

The interior has been likened to the Audi Q6. It features a panoramic curved panel that incorporates a 11.9-inch instrument screen and a 14.5-inch touch screen, as well as an extra 10.9-inch screen for the passenger. Unlike the Q6, the doors have recessed handles. A major dislike is the reliance on touch screen controls instead of physical knobs for climate settings. The reviewer noted the rear passenger seat is fairly wide, but somewhat cramped for the legs. It offers 502 liters of luggage capacity, expandable to 1422 liters with the rear seats folded. A 27-liter frunk is available under the hood for cables.

The A6 e-tron is available in three power levels. The base e-tron has a single rear motor with 286 horsepower. An option with a 94.9 kWh battery and two motors with 428 horsepower is available. The sport version has 503 horsepower in boost mode. The base model offers up to 225 kW of charging, and the rest 270 kW. At its most efficient, the electric e-tron consumes 14.7 kWh / 100 km.

The reviewer praises its quality of handling on par with the Porsche Macan e. It is equipped with an independent suspension on all four wheels and the tested model featured an air suspension with adjustable height.

The A6 is valued at around €70,480, with the Avant e-tron, 286 hp, being the entry point.  The tested version, the Avant e-tron performance goes for €83,380, whilst the four is €106,810. There is a €2500 cheaper price to get the Sportback version. The pure electric A6 e-tron gets good mileage, comfort and smooth drive.
