Video Summary

The new model Y costs from £45,000 for the standard range, £49,000 for the long range, and £52,000 for the all-wheel drive model. This pricing is roughly the same as that of comparable competitors. At the front, the new design features a complete new light signature with a light bar. At the rear, the car features a direct light light bar and angular design, as well as a new spoiler lip.  The suspension is softer than previous models, with acoustic glass, which makes the car quieter on the motorway. The power is 375 bhp with torque of 364 lb ft.  Inside it's "very much a Tesla" with a big screen and dashboard and not much else, though it has more soft touch materials, Alcantara, and metal speaker grille trim than previous models. There is a lot of in-car storage and massively practical boot, making it an excellent family car.  While it lacks Apple CarPlay or Android Auto, there is Spotify and Apple Music integration. The navigation will route you via chargers on long trips better than other carmakers. Its steering is very nervous off-center, requiring careful handling.  Ultimately, the car is practical and good for sensible reasons with a lot of range, though is not described as a drivers car. Overall, a Skoda Enyaq and Hyundai Ioniq 5 are a bit more comfortable.
