The Worst Part About Owning a Cybertruck

Uploaded 2 months ago by Kobra ToldYa

Video Summary

After owning Tesla Cybertruck for over a year, there is one thing that is by far the worst: no standard autopilot, like all other Teslas have. The fact that it doesn’t have standard autopilot is concerning. The stainless steel is hard to keep clean with fingerprints galore; this might be something you’re thinking is a problem, and it is. This is a second Cybertruck, and the first had tons of problems, things breaking and falling apart. The tailgate wouldn’t close, then it wouldn’t open, then it would stay closed, then it would stay open. Tesla repurchased it without hesitation. The review notes there are still recalls on the Tesla Cybertruck, and there are a lot of them. Some things can be fixed over the air, but some things can't; you have to take it in. The reviewer had to change the rearview mirror to a digital mirror with a camera, with his own money. He has to put a seat cover down because the wear and tear on the actual seat is terrible. He puts a protective armrest cover on because he’s worried about it getting damaged, a problem he has seen on other Teslas. A range extender that would go in the bed and would give you more range, closer to that 500, was canceled. It was around 450 miles of range. Tesla is refunding people because the trucks may not be selling, or that it's going to be too expensive and not worth it for them to make it. Some negative attention is because of Elon, and because of the way the Cybertruck looks. These are things that factor in. A one-year free trial of full self-driving is being offered to gather more data. On this car with cruise control there is nothing that really tells you it’s in cruise control, but it won’t stay in the lane. All Foundation Series owners get full self-driving. This is a non-Foundation Series review truck.
