Video Summary

The Zeekr 7X was released in 2024.
It's 4825 mm long, 1930 mm wide, and 1666 mm tall with a 2925 mm wheelbase.
The car's size is pretty close to the XPeng G7.
It's 10 cm shorter, meaning less back seat and trunk space.
Just like the G7, the 7X is designed with families in mind.
It comes in standard rear-wheel drive, long-range rear-wheel drive, and long-range all-wheel drive trims.

The car uses Zeekr's latest design language and has a clamshell-style hood.
The blacked-out light bar has a pixel style.
The clamshell hood isn't just for show, but is more expensive to manufacture and reduces drag.
The tested model is the base trim, and doesn't have the optional light up front panel.
It has four ultrasonic sensors on the front bumper, just like the G7.
There's also an active air intake grill and a millimeter wave radar in the center.
The front facing camera, for the 360° surround-view system, is just below the license plate bracket.
The headlights are tucked under the daytime running lights.
From the side, there are raised contours on both sides of the hood.
This model comes with Continental EcoContact 7s, energy-saving tires.

All windows are single-layer glass. Many owners in China have complained online about sound insulation.
The emergency door release is too well hidden.
Doors don't come with soft-close by default, but it's an option.
The steering wheel is large.
Engineers didn't have real-world experience with wireless charging pads, which overheat.

The taillight release is below the rear camera.
There's an issue in the cup holders which are poorly designed and water bottles will not stay in place.
One has to turn ESC completely off from the infotainment system, to drive well in Sport mode.
All rear seats come with heating, ventilation, massage, and electric recline adjustment.
The seat belt tension feels loose, causing rattle in the B pillar.
The reviewer advises to purchase a cover to prevent rattling.

A work around was needed to squeeze in the rear reclined function.

An emergency door release can be difficult to spot.

There are dual-color reading lights, though; and power sunshades. They’re pretty luxurious at this price point.

For a snappy throttle response, just switching to Sport mode isn't enough.
