Video Summary

The Cullinan Series II Black Badge is responsible for bringing down the average buyer age of a Rolls Royce. Clients in their 40s are more likely to put these SUVs on 23-inch wheels. Rolls Royce has done it for you with their 23-inch wheel option, already ruining the ride. This is the most expensive SUV money can buy, starting at $470,000 but optioned to $608,000. New technologies from the Spectre like the gauge cluster have been added, but also the Spirit of Ecstasy in the clock. Black Badge is said to "transcend from the darkness and move into the light," a claim the reviewer makes fun of. The carbon fiber weaving on the dash is too much like a Gucci bag.  The "cloud perforation pattern" in the seats emulates the clouds that exist above the Rolls-Royce factory. 23-inch wheels compromise the ride some. The vehicle stays level when cornering and feels soft. Overall, the Cullinan is an extremely nice vehicle. The tester admits there is some “thunk” on small road irregularities, with a “compromised ride.” It is not as “wafty” as a Phantom, more “wallow-wafty.” The speaker/sound system is valued at $11,000. The front has been redesigned in a yacht-like shape. With 592 horsepower, the engine burbles slightly even when you rev it to a stop. It is 6,000 pounds, so it still moves quickly. The rear “Viewing Suite,” a pair of seats not meant for use while driving, features luxurious yellow leather and the Cullinan logo. In the back is a theater package with two separate screens, useful for 22 people in the car at once. According to the tester, the car looks and feels as large as it is when driving. The tester says The Black Badge doesn't need to be lighter. It looks as huge as it feels inside when driving. There is almost no orange peel.
