Skoda Enyaq facelift 2025 review | Best time to buy one?

Video Summary

The Škoda Enyaq has received another refresh, and the new version has a more visible design. The battery and range are slightly larger than previous models. At the time of filming, Škoda is doing 0% on PCP and HP. The 60 battery version can be purchased for 43,000 euros in Ireland. Adding two grand gets you an 85 battery model. The car featured in the video is an 85x Sportline costing approximately 56,000 euros.  The last Enyaq had a large "mouth", which is not necessary for EVs, so the new design suits it better. The light situation has changed with matrix lights on the Sportline. A plus pack gives matrix headlights, taillights, and an electric driver's seat with lumbar support, memory function, massage function and sun blinds in the rear. An advanced pack gets a head-up display, Canton sound system, and a 360 camera. On the non-Sportline the price is 4.5k euro. The reviewer recommends the max pack because you get all those things plus dynamic chassis control, leather heated sports steering wheel, progressive steering, intelligent parking assist and remote park assist. A warranty extension can be obtained for 672 euro, but the mileage cap does not change, so that is an important point to review for individual use cases. The car includes 21 inch Supernova alloys, but they will decrease range and ride comfort. A black-colored, not-very-prominent, sportline is now placed in the new design. The rooftop rails if needed allow towing up to 1200 kilos or bike racks and storage on the back of the car. The reviewer visited Prague to look at the new RS version which now has a fully reflective strip, whereas the Model line does not. Boot space is 585 liters with convenient storage for the type 2 cable. No front. Standard equipment includes hooks, cargo holders, and the flexible parcel shelf. No tablet device holder in back though. The review calls out some silver trim now around aircon and two USB-C changing ports. The car comes with fully flat floor.

There are 60 kWh or 79 kWh usable batteries now, allowing for 175 kilowatt DC charging. The review notes the new aerodynamic features should allow for even more range.

The steering wheel and seats were found comfortable. The steering wheel is light to drive.

A weird design consideration is the center screen is angled towards the left hand driver, so this is a consideration for right hand drivers to see.

With all-wheel drive, the efficiency rating of the car is 16 kilowatt hours per 100 kilometers, or well over 3 miles per kilowatt hour. Also, they now all come with blind spot monitoring and better ADAS Suite.
