The Lexus RZ, or RZ in the US, has more horsepower, range, and better charging capacity than its predecessor. It's built on the same platform as the BZ. There are three models: the RZ 350e front-wheel drive, RZ 450e all-wheel drive, and the RZ 550e F Sport all-wheel drive. Standard 18-inch wheels and available 20-inch wheels come on the 350e and 450e. The F Sport comes standard with 20-inch wheels, a unique front-end design, and black accents.Dimensions are 189 inches in length, 74.6 inches in width, and 64.4 inches in height. The front-wheel-drive has 221 horsepower and a 298-mile range with 0-100 kilometers/hour acceleration in 7.5 seconds. The all-wheel-drive has 308 horsepower and a 260-mile range with 0-100 in 5.2 seconds. The 550e F Sport has 402 horsepower and a 224-mile range with 0-100 in 4.3 seconds.
The car will adopt a North American charging standard and comes standard with an 11-kilowatt onboard charger, up from 7 kilowatts in the previous model. At a DC fast charger, 10-80% charging takes 30 minutes. The interior is a modern, minimalist design. It has leather and Ultrasuede with blue stitching, a large screen, knobs and buttons, dual cup holders, wireless charging, and a dynamic panoramic sunroof that goes from opaque to clear with a touch of a button. It's made in Japan and will be available later this year.
